Ask your AgentAgencies differ: some deduct the rent for your accommodation from your wages, others ask you to pay it yourself under a separate rental agreement. Your Agent will tell you which applies here before you travel.A change is coming: the Dutch government plans that from 1 July 2028 employers may no longer deduct housing costs from the minimum wage. After that, rent will usually be paid separately, under a rental agreement.
